    IT’S NOT ABOUT LUCK

    Client: Apatinska Brewery
    Category: Alcohol & Beverage
Project tasks: Identity, Stand Design, Ad, Notebook, Leaflet and Cup
    Year: 2013

Annual Trainee Program is being organized by Apatinska Pivara (Apatinska brewery), for fresh graduated students with no experience. Having in mind the popularity of the program and the specific position and image that brewery has in Serbia, its being promoted on job fairs, career days and similar events, as well as online and in print material. We were commisioned to create project visually different to one we did previous years. Whole image was chaged due to the fact that our client has become a part of Molson Coors company and their visual identity is being promoted at the moment, so this was a perfect opportunity to spread look&feel of the new company.

We changed products, so this year we designed small notebooks for people that entered the program, leaflets and tea cups. Classic digital ad was also published. Bigest difference was in the stand design. This year we opted for the metaphorical “pub” association, which connected both core business and “work hard – play hard” philosophy that is being promoted in the brewery. Openness and friendly approach was important. It was sugely successful and it attracted lots of attention to the stand and the program itself. Main copy was “Its not about luck”, which stands for the meritocracy and fair approach towards employment policy

Client: Federation of Non-governmental Organizations of Serbia
    Category: NGO
Project tasks: Stationary and Promo Materials
    Year: 2013

In 2003 a number of non-governmental organizations initiated forming of a network of non-governmental organizations, having realized that only through joint activity by means of this legitimate body, could they improve their working conditions and develop a strategy for survival of this sector in Serbia. At the annual conference of the Civic Initiatives in February of 2003, the Federation of Non-governmental Organizations of Serbia (FeNS ) was founded. Today, FeNS comprises 528 member-organizations from 102 municipalities in Serbia.

Our job was to redefine the identity of the organization, to modernize its image in the society and among stakeholders and the decion makers. We have redesigned official website and generic promo materials such as notebooks, bags, pencils, folders and leaflets. Main idea was to use the acronym as much as possible, emphasizing the contrast between black letters and white surface, with the colors of the identity adding just enough of the variety that is needed because of the topics that are being covered by the organization. Website included 3D application of the identity since its all about technology.

    Client: NIS GazpromNeft
    Category: Oil Business
    Project tasks: Corporate Job Ads
    Year: 2012

NIS is one of the biggest vertically integrated oil companies in South East Europe. Its business activities include oil and natural gas explorations, production and refining, as well as the sale of a wide range of oil products. Core company values state: be a dynamic and modern company, with the energy that drives the better. As one of the largest and most important companies in the country, it should radiate strength and stability, to present itself as an integral, inseparable part of the society and the Serbian economy.
Font that is written in the company name in the logo confirms it. Keeping all this in mind, we must not forget the tradition that NIS as a company, espacially a multinational one (Russian GazpromNeft is major shareholder), has. Based on what the company's brand strategy emphasizes and predetermines, our vision of presenting the company would have three main directions / routes. Each route has different inspiration such as shapes used in Russian constuctivism, Illustrated metaphors and Bright and powerfull images.

Everything we demanded from our printing and bookbinding partners was successfully implemented, which was important since the final look was based on the technical perfection. Also, we had a privilege to work directly to the importer of the material, so it was easy to work out the best solution for the material/foil combination. Client finally decided to order more that originally planned, and also to create a beige/black combination which was created using the same method and materials.

We decided to create two different versions of the logotype, each based on the fact that we are dealing with two core businesses: internet and ads. Chosen logotype was inspired by the newspaper ads, carefully adapted to save that look and feel, but to be modern at the same time. The second one had digital typeface and was designed to be easily connected with the digital marketing and internet as such.

As of 2000, the regional program “Human rights education for active citizenship in the Western Balkans” was being developed in Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, promoting human rights education. They have developed educational personnel and provided education in human rights, intercultural understanding and conflict resolution primarily for youth. Youth and people dealing with youth in Western Balkan countries have a lack of basic knowledge about the human rights and very often have prejudices and discriminatory attitudes, even after they have been attending the civic education programs at their schools.

We were commissioned to create visual identity of the campaign/project, website, design and production of various print material such as: three different types of brochures in five languages, bags, folders, rollups, notebooks, bookmarkers, posters, badges, sticks etc. During the process of identity creation and design, we tried to maintain the focus of the project on both its main components: Education and Human Rights. “Edu!” logotype represents education (especially for young people) and different colors used in the logo are stressing the diversity and variation of topics that are being discussed within the project.

Campaign was implemented in SEE countries (Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia).
